His career trajectory has since encompassed significant positions in sales and trading, focusing on product and business development across both traditional financial institutions and fintech startups. In his current role at FalconX, Hamill oversees institutional coverage, operating from the firm's bases in San Mateo, California, and New York. His responsibilities include managing diverse trading accounts for systematic, discretionary, and derivatives trading, catering to an elite clientele comprising hedge funds, family offices, and private dealers.


Before FalconX, as the Director of Institutional Loan Originations at Genesis, Hamill led a multinational team and dramatically expanded the firm's loan portfolio by over 20 times its original size. His strategic initiatives there included enhancing client engagement and operational workflows, which resulted in a significant increase in clients and a quadrupling of revenue within just two years.

Earlier, at Sanford C. Bernstein, Hamill managed trading coverage for a variety of asset managers across North America, executing substantial trades and overseeing portfolio strategies. His extensive eight-year tenure at Credit Suisse was marked by progressive leadership roles, culminating as Vice President of the International Program Trading Desk, where he innovated processes for managing large-scale foreign exchange transactions and non-dollar portfolio trades.

His Academic Background

Hamill's educational foundation in economics was established at Trinity College, Hartford, from which he graduated in 2008. His college years were characterized by active involvement in campus life, including membership in the Alpha Delta Phi fraternity and a role as a class senator. A study abroad experience in Rome further enhanced his exposure to global markets.
